On the visible part can be seeing columns made of marble with beautiful spirals, vast cobbled areas, toward the top of the hill, there are series of dwellings ( dated from Greek period), two Acropolis with series of tombs (which remain up till now untouched).

During the digs, big numbers of unique handmade items were discovered. The monastery of Agios Alamanos is situated in Monagroulli village its south part. The Holly monastery built in the name of the Witness Georgios Tropeoforos.

Each which chapel has been dedicated to a saint , the Agious Pandes (small byzantine temple in the cemetery), Agiou Nektariou (larger chapel at the square of the monastery), Agiou Stephanou (at the monastery gate) and chapel near the cave Elder Germanou Stavrovounioti, dedicated to saints Germano Patriarch of Konstantinopole and Georgio Alamano.

All this was bringing a lot of difficulties for building process. But the solution was found and large shipment of cats from Palestine and Egypt was brought.
