On the visible part can be seeing columns made of marble with beautiful spirals, vast cobbled areas, toward the top of the hill, there are series of dwellings ( dated from Greek period), two Acropolis with series of tombs (which remain up till now untouched).
During the digs, big numbers of unique handmade items were discovered. Each which chapel has been dedicated to a saint , the Agious Pandes (small byzantine temple in the cemetery), Agiou Nektariou (larger chapel at the square of the monastery), Agiou Stephanou (at the monastery gate) and chapel near the cave Elder Germanou Stavrovounioti, dedicated to saints Germano Patriarch of Konstantinopole and Georgio Alamano.
