1. Ancient Ruins of Kourion

The city dates back to the 8th century BC when an ancient monument was built and dedicated to the God Apollo Hylates. It is truly a majestic sight to behold, with a grandioso Roman-theatre with a capacity of 3,500 seats, a treasury, temples, baths, markets for you to witness. 2. Limassol Marina

The Marina at Limassol has gone under a huge economic boost, with €350 million being invested into rejuvenating the area. With luxury apartments, restaurants & of course the port for Yachts to drop anchor. Over 6000 square meters of retail space is now there for days of shopping envy! With huge designer names present. 3. Fasouri Watermania Water Park

Who needs a good explanation to visit a water park?! Enjoy over 20 different attractions with a variety of slides, pools, jacuzzi. Looking for a thrill? Jump on the kamikaze, wanted to kick back and relax? Mosey on down the lazy river. It’s perfect fun for families and friends to visit and guarantees some excitement for the day!

4. Kourion Beach

Limassol is home to many stunning beaches. From the golden white sand at Agios Tychon to the natural beauty of Governor’s beach. Aphrodite beach… the birthplace of Goddess Aphrodite (how can you not want to visit there). But there is one beach that trumps them all! Kourion beach is the jewel of Limassol, stretching over 1km long with an even longer history, with a crystal clear ocean to swim in, with the mesmerising white hills surrounding the shore. Of course, the ancient city of Kourion is nearby (hence the name), which makes it even more worthwhile visiting.

5. Caledonia Waterfalls

This isn’t a huge fan favourite for everyone but for those of you who love nature. The raw power of the Caledonian waterfalls is one of natures finest shows. They are one of the highest waterfalls in all of Cyprus standing proudly at 12 meters high. It is located close to Troodos and can be easily accessed by a walking path. If you want to venture out of the city and step into a beautiful forest with idyllic views and calming essence. The trail is only a short 3km journey and is definitely worth the effort. There is a shorter trail for people who want to be in and out or have difficulty making the long journey.
